David is the Chief Executive Officer of Crean International. After 23 years with the Irish Defence Forces, predominantly served with the Special Forces Unit, David left the military in 2004 to begin his civilian career as Head of Security with the Aga Khan Development Network in Afghanistan.
In 2008 David joined the Telecom Development Company of Afghanistan (“Roshan”) as Executive Security Director, where he oversaw country-wide security operations and designed and implemented a range of security and transport solutions resulting in company savings of over 12 million USD.
David’s experiences with NGOs and commercial entities in Central Asia and the Middle East helped forge the plan for establishing Crean International, where David continues to specialise in delivering tailored solutions for organisations operating intense environments.
